Drawing and Embroidery Workshop in Madeira – Children and Youth (7-18 years old)

PROGRAM
In this workshop, Madeira Embroidery becomes a tool for contemporary artistic expression. In collaboration with IVBAM and Porta33, Bailha promotes a series of workshops where drawing and thread intersect in a playful and educational setting.
Priority is given to children and young people (7-18 years old), but it is open to the general public.
Objetives:
- Educating for the preservation of Madeira’s cultural heritage.
- To stimulate creativity and artistic expression through embroidery.
- Promoting well-being and concentration (therapeutic practice).
- To build bridges between the knowledge of the embroiderers and the experience of the young people.
All materials are included: fabric, thread, needle, thimble, and finger cot.

This workshop is intended for all children and young people (7-18 years old), but is open to the general public.
The workshop is taught in Portuguese or English.
Important Information:
The workshop will take place with a minimum of 5 participants and a maximum of 12.
Cancellations/Refunds
The registration fee will be refunded to those who cannot attend, provided that the cancellation is communicated up to 2 days before the scheduled date.
