Join us for an immersive, hands-on Madeira Embroidery workshop led by David Oliveira, founder of Bailha.

During this 3-hour experience, participants will:
– Discover the history and cultural significance of Madeira embroidery
– Practice basic Madeira stitches such as corda stitch, garanito and matiz
– Sketch their own design
– Embroider a unique, personalized ecobag to take home
This workshop is suitable for beginners and enthusiasts
– No previous experience is necessary.

Each participant receives individualized guidance and support throughout the process. All tools and materials are provided, including:

– 1 ecobag of high quality fabric (100% organic cotton)
– Madeira embroidery threads
– Needle
– Thimble
– Finger protector

Participants will leave the workshop with their finished ecobag and a deeper understanding of Madeira’s craftsmanship heritage.
