Discover the art of Madeira Embroidery in an immersive workshop led by local embroiderers.
In this cultural experience, you will have the opportunity to learn about the cultural and historical context of this centuries-old art form, as well as the traditional stitches that have defined the island's artisanal identity for generations. It is the perfect opportunity to learn a new craft technique and create a unique, memorable piece to take home with you.

The program
Guided step-by-step by our experienced embroiderers, the session includes:
- Introductory exercises, ideal for those taking their first steps.
- Learning traditional techniques and stitches, with a focus on the rope stitch, garanito, and matiz.
- A final project where you can apply your ideas and creativity, embroidering various motifs on a support of your choice: a cotton bag (tote bag).

Minimum attendance: The workshop will only take place if at least 5 people are registered. If this number is not reached by 3 days before the event, we will contact the participants who have already registered to issue a full refund or, if they prefer, exchange the workshop fee for a voucher for our shop. The same procedure will apply if the class is canceled due to force majeure.

Cancellations and refunds (by the customer): We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. The registration fee will be fully refunded to anyone who cannot participate for any reason, provided they notify us of their withdrawal at least 2 days before the scheduled date.
